Bogota, Colombia - July 20, 2016: Looking downhill at one of the Baroque Towers of the Church of Our Lady of Candelaria, in the South American capital city of Bogota in Colombia. The Church was built between 1686 and 1703 by the Catholic Augustinian Order. Local Colombian people walk through the narrow streets of the historical La Candelaria district of Bogotá, the Andean capital city of the South American country of Colombia. It is a holiday in the Country and there is hardly any traffic around. It is in this area that the Spanish Conquistador, Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada founded the city in 1538. Many of the walls in this area are painted with street art, legends of the pre Colombian era, or just in the vibrant colours of Colombia. The sky is overcast: it will probably rain shortly. Photo shot on a cloudy morning; horizontal format. Copy space.
