This region is unique in that it has many endemic flora and fauna and is a transitional area between the continents of Asia and Australia. One of the areas that has endemic flora and fauna is the Poso area. Anoa (Bubalus sp.) Is one of the protected endemic animals which characterizes Sulawesi Island which also inhabits the Protected Forest Area of ​​Sangginora Village, Poso Regency.\nAnoa is classified as a rare wild animal and has been protected by law in Indonesia since 1931 and confirmed by Law no. 5 of 1990 and Government Regulation no. 7 of 1999.
