Three days after the collapse of the Carola Bridge in the city center of Dresden, Saxony, Germany: Since an extreme flood situation was forecast only a few days after the collapse of the bridge, the unstable bridge parts in the riverbank area are being quickly demolished, smashed and removed in order to prevent an accumulation of flotsam during the expected flood.
