Hyalinobatrachium valerioi is declining in parts of its range while is considered stable in others. Habitat deforestation is a significant threat, as is pollution from the spraying of illegal crops.
Japanese tree frogs, found in rice fields and grassy areas, have the amazing skill of being able to change the color of their bodies. They often change the color of their bodies to match their surroundings, for example being green when they are resting on grass. They have round suction cups on all of their fingertips, which makes them good at climbing trees. They also have the special skill of being able to stick to window glass.\nThey can change the color of their backs to match their surroundings and background.

A Agalychnis Hulli frog is seen perching on a leaf at night.  It is an uncommon frog species that is suffering from habitat loss in parts of its range. Its natural habitats are lowland tropical rainforests at elevations up to 450 m (1,480 ft) above sea level.  It is a very pretty frog with colors of orange, green red and black.  It has very prominent eyes that are similar to lizard eyes.
This frog jumped on the window chasing dinner. I captured him through the window with the barest of lighting and a long exposure. They don't move much, making them great subjects.

Zhangixalus arboreus, also known as the forest green tree frog and Kinugasa flying frog, is a species of frog in the family Rhacophoridae endemic to Japan, where it has been observed on Honshu island, as high as 2000 meters above sea level.
