There were many of these little butterflies flying near to the ground as I walked in Venman Forest in Brisbane. At rest they were not so easy to spot until they felt the vibration of my approach and fled. This one stayed put and let me come close enough to get the shot. This is the typical litter of a eucalypt forest floor in Queensland Australia, with gum nuts and tough leaves, often sickle shaped.
