White stork - (Ciconia ciconia) large water bird with black and white plumage and a long red beak. The bird stands among the greenery on a summer day.

Storks have a nearly cosmopolitan distribution, being absent from the poles, most of North America and large parts of Australia. The stork diversity are in tropical Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, with eight and six breeding species respectively.
